I had to watch over a group of 20 Japanese children from 7 a.m to 3 p.m as they attended activities and attempted to learn English. It was great to fully immerse myself and surround myself with people that spoke only Japanese. It allowed me to practice my Japanese as well as having to overcome the language barrier.

I tutored an average of about 10 hours a week at my school privately with students ages 8-16 in a subjects that they requested. I specialized in math and sciences but was capable of handling english and history tutoring if requested.
