I am currently a Building Renovation Technology student at George Brown College. Prior to this, I did a year at Toronto Metropolitan University for Accounting and Finance. I decided to go into this program because I have had multiple family members work in the trades and as a kid I'd spend my free time helping my grandfather repair old bikes and watch him do roof repairs on our home. I've always been fascinated about how a building comes to be. I've always enjoyed building things and watching something grow from the ground up. In this program, I am doing just that, where we are constructed miniature pods that simulate an actual building renovation. In addition, I have acquired the fundamentals of building renovation skills such as; HVAC, plumbing, electrical, framing, plan reading and etc. I am also certified in Working At Heights and WHMIS.
