Led strategic sourcing, contracting and implementation functions of over $1B in spend in support of Kaiser Permanent's corporate sustainability goals, including renewable energy, food sustainability and waste. Performed as a key partner with Kaiser Permanente's world-class Supplier Diversity team, supporting multiple key initiatives.• Led the strategic sourcing and contracting functions as a core member of an executive team responsible for achieving Kaiser Permanente's ambitious renewable energy goals, including:- implementation of over 100 on-site renewable energy solar installations, including rooftop, ground-mounted and elevated solar panels throughout California, generating in excess of 90 MW.- implementation of utility-scale renewable energy projects, including the Golden Hills Wind project (Alameda, CA) and Blythe Solar Project (Blythe, CA), relying on Virtual Purchase Power Agreements that generate more than 360 MW.- implementation of a comprehensive carbon offset purchasing program that allowed Kaiser Permanente to achieve carbon net neutrality through the purchase of verifiable carbon credits aligned with Kaiser Permanente's mission and values.• Led the sourcing and procurement functions as a core member of an executive team supporting a comprehensive, enterprise-wide waste management analysis, remediation and optimization program, including hazardous, pathological, pharmaceutical, confidential, recycling, food and landfill waste streams.• Led the sourcing, procurement and contracting functions as a core member of an executive team supporting Kaiser Permanente's food sustainability goal of achieving 100% sustainable and/or local food by 2025.• Partner of Kaiser Permanente's Supplier Diversity council supporting Kaiser's Billion Dollar Roundtable award. Awarded the CFO Impact Awards, 2019 Impact Spend Champion award for direct and personal leadership in supporting meaningful change in Kaiser Permanente's supply base and corresponding communities.
