My first foray into the search for hemp clothing resulted in the purchase of my first hemp dress. The dress was soft on the skin, durable, stood up to many washings, and had healthful, anti-bacterial qualities as well. But the style of the dress just didn’t fit into my life. I just wanted sustainable hemp clothing basics to add to my wardrobe…just basic pieces appropriate for the office, the gym, or social events.So I launched Colorado Hemp Clothing, made in Colorado, USA!

Hired as Marketing Projects Manager to develop and implement marketing programs. Created marketing plans, presentations, videos, and marketing collateral. Assisted homeowners, designers and fabricators in stone slab selection. ω Received 30% pay increase after first year.ω Began developing new sales territories January 1, 2016, opening and managing sales routes through Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Utah, and New Mexico.ω Utilized Badger Mapping sales software to locate, qualify, and track prospects.ω Overcame objections in an extremely competitive market to create product preference.ω identified, built, and managed key account relationships and opportunities.ω Created, scheduled, and presented PK presentations to kitchen and bath designers.

Hired as Marketing/Administrative Assistant, immediately accepting responsibility as Operations Manager for marketing, planning, and managing month-long summer ESL camp in Exton, Pennsylvania. ~ Designed Compass-USA logo, created email newsletters, designed and launched websites to promote and market ESL camp and non-profit affiliate, AILI.~ In 2012 accepted promotion as Program Manager to open a new homestay region; recruiting and interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, and managing staffs of five groups for international homestay in Southeast Pennsylvania. ~ Marketed ESL Camp internationally through online mail and international publications.~ Continued camp management for 2013 season; recruiting and hiring camp staff, supporting Camp Director; planning activities, developing schedules, budgeting and negotiating with vendors. ~ In 2013 expanded homestay region to 7 groups recruiting and interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, and managing staffs for international homestay in Southeast Pennsylvania.

Originally hired for a temporary position and offered Administrative Assistant position to manage the smooth running of all daily operations. Negotiated and administered office contracts for equipment and services ensuring excellent vendor relations. Provided support for the CEO and BOT on a daily basis coordinating Board of Trustee meetings, distribution of agenda, posting of minutes, reports and other information. Promoted opportunities for community outreach in support of NARHA programs.

Planned off-train excursions for cross country luxury train touring passengers. Provided 24/7 support for tour leaders and maintained relationships with vendors, hotel concierges and site attractions. Managed hotel reservation blocks, off-train dining, touring and activities. Experienced the GrandLuxe 9-day Great Northwest and Rockies trip prior to the closing of the company.

Directed all aspects of web/multimedia, graphics and photography, design and layout. Handled all daily administrative, editorial, sales, marketing and distribution functions. Selected features, stories and photos; hired photographers, writers and sales staff--coordinating the talents of up to 20 people. Negotiated trade with advertisers and media partners. Achieved circulation of 20,000 pieces per issue.
