Applying more than 25 years of real-world experience in directing, planning, and constructing public improvements, water & wastewater, distribution, collection and treatment, transportation initiatives, safe routes to school, shared use pathways, dedicated bikeways, interstate, major arterial and residential street planning and construction, recreation facilities, parks, ADA accessibility and economic development improvements for local, state, and federal agencies in North America.

Regional Managing Director for Anser Advisory, responsible for increase sales and bottom-line financial growth, with focus on identifying viable projects, opening doors to decision makers and performing analyses to pinpoint client needs.

Served in many capacities overseeing administration, marketing and business development. Responsible for program direction and administration of the department’s six operating divisions including construction inspection, engineering and construction, traffic engineering and parking, facilities management, fleet management and refuse collection. Managed more than 1,100 employees while overseeing an annual operating budget of $100 million. Accountable for project management, policy development and implementation, team building, customer service-focused management, budget development, safety, emergency planning and infrastructure planning and administration. Led the city’s effort to revise the 30-year-old refuse code and implemented the first comprehensive right-of-way ordinance for a major Ohio city. Successfully and consistently gained consensus between government agencies and worked with local and state agencies to develop and implement innovative shared-funding approaches for local public improvements.

Managed a professional team to provide utility infrastructure and services to the Greater Columbus area. Services included water and wastewater treatment, distribution and collection, electrical generation and distribution and regional airport administration.

Served as the mayor's liaison to community groups representing neighborhoods, LGBT rights and health care initiatives, coordinated strategic planning activities and capital budget programming.
