I have been privileged to have a diverse career. As I started this journey of finding out “what’s next”, I really enjoyed the process of looking back at each job and recognizing how each one has developed skills and made me a better and stronger part of each team. Even more important than the projects, products and the successes I’ve enjoyed, I see the greater impact that the people I’ve worked for and worked with have had to make me a better employee and a more capable, confident leader. I am truly thankful.I have had the opportunity to work in marketing, product development and creative management for some great companies. Although my jobs may seem radically different on the surface, I’ve found that each one has uniquely contributed and helped me to develop a broad spectrum of skills that makes me a strong team leader. I have the ability to think strategically, but also to see and understand the path to deliver on a project. I thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a broad scope of responsibilities. I enjoy having impact on projects from concept to completion. Whether it’s getting a product to market, implementing a merchandising strategy or seeing an event emerge from a crazy idea to a successful occasion, I’ve built a career on facing challenges and producing results. Pressure is a motivator and a challenge that keeps me coming back for more.I enjoy working with and empowering others to get projects done and delivered on time. I’m the guy who enjoys the challenge of taking on the project nobody wants and working with the team to figure it out. I have done extensive work with team development, implementation and management and I truly believe an organization is stronger when we all work together. There is power in diversity of background, thought and ability. I know from experience that what is impossible for one person to get done can be readily accomplished by a strong, focused team of individuals who work together; however, it takes a good team leader to make certain that the right people are in the right places and that they have all the tools they need to succeed. I believe that’s the kind of leadership I bring to the table.
