Republic Services is the second largest provider of solid waste collection, transfer, recycling and disposal services in the U.S. The leadership trainee program is a full-time 18-month development program that provides on the job training through rotations within several roles at Republic services e.g. (sales, operations, logistics, HR, finance and maintenance). This program is intended to prepare candidates for an operations manager position and accentuate career development.•Assimilated through several sequenced tasks and rotations within the company including: Operations, Maintenance, Post Collections, Finance, Human Resources and Sales.•Managed a YTD P&L of 2 hauling divisions (110 routes) worth $60 MM with 16 direct reports.•Served as interim Operations Manager of divisions 3753 & 3756 over 3 months, was favorable to target EBIT by a combined $960,000.•Decreased the following complaints & liquidated damages within Hillsborough County Contract: Backdoor customer complaints- 52%, collection complaints- 9%, liquidated damages- 15%.•Coordinated and led a team of 28 on the yard waste line of business and decreased customer complaints from Hillsborough County residents by 39%.•Spearheaded the launch of a container removal project for the city of Tampa, removing 2,300 small containers. Completed project favorable to target budget by $310,000. Using the principals of Lean, process-mapped operational procedures to mitigate process delays and waste of labor and engine hours; all to ensure a smooth and orderly transition for all stakeholders (Republic, Waste Pro, customers, and City of Tampa). I also oversaw the inventory of incoming assets and transfer to neighboring business units.

Direct support to MBA program coordinator in regards to organizational, logistical and event management.Facilitated corporate outreach for MBA practicum series- connecting with 55 MBA candidates with over a dozen employers.

Providing support for senior research human performance scientists in data collection efforts in ongoing doctorate dissertations. Responsible for upkeep of all lab testing equipment/facilities and the creation of documentation including standard operating procedures, lab manuals and reports.
