ENSCO is currently producing both manned and autonomous track inspection systems which takes samples every foot of track covered. Because of the large amount of data being collected the rate of false positives being found needs to be as low as possible. This data is then transferred to the cloud where it can be analyzed to determine if a repair crew needs to be sent out. ENSCO has asked us to create a proof of concept design using an Arduino to transmit sensor data to a cloud based database in real time with a minimum of 400 samples per second. Show less
