Responsibility for the running of a busy university photography studio including: • Equipment library – managing the University’s extensive equipment library (digital and film format), maintenance and purchase of equipment• Technical instruction – including the full range of lighting and darkroom processes along with studio photography• Studio facilities – managing comprehensive studio facilities used by students and commercial organisations • Darkrooms – running and maintaining a large colour and black and white dark room facility including ordering stock and budget control • Commercial relationships – increasing revenue streams through developing relationships with local commercial organisations.

Responsibility for the running of the student photography facilities which included: • Studio management – all aspects of studio running and maintenance • Darkroom management – including stock control and student instruction • Technical advisor – providing hand on advice and information for students.
