State Certified trainer, State Certified Dynamic trainer, Crisis Intervention Team officer, State Certified Firearms instructor, I worked the maximum security gang unit as Lt for 3 years, Sgt of death-row unit for 3 1/2 years, Pepper ball instructor, I teach classes at the Corrections academy for In-service and Pre-service. I have worked all areas of corrections inside the prison, men and women offenders. I am Lt of programming Case Action Plans, we interview every offender and get their programming setup whether it be Substance abuse, Sex offender treatment, Education and also all their life skills classes.I was TAC officer in 2007 for Corrections Academy 216 and was involved in every aspect of their training and participated in their PT. A TAC officer is a Lt from the prison to gives information and be a mentor to Cadets as they go through the academy.Because I’ve worked from the ground up from minimum to max and intake to the women’s facility in the past 21+ years, I have worked under some of the best… and supervised and trained many other officers …. I have a good understanding of not only which programs seem to be working best for the inmates (OMR, CAP..personal experience) but I have first handed understanding of the officers’ needs and concerns, along with the day to day operations of the prison. I have worked with many AP&P officers as well and trained many of them and have a good understanding of their needs and operations. State of Utah Concealed weapon carry Instructor.I teach Utah concealed carry class in order for people to get a concealed weapon permit in Utah. It is recognized in 23 states. Gun handling, gun skills, gun safety, gun training and familiarity. Handguns, shotguns and rifles full auto or semi-auto.
