I serve as a consultant to marketing and research executives at film studios as well as TV and OTT clients. Our work at MarketCast encompasses a variety of methodologies, including: creative materials testing (trailers, TV and digital/social materials); brand and positioning studies; tracking and social media listening. My role is to transform findings into comprehensive and actionable creative guidance for campaigns, presented directly to clients via in-person meetings, teleconferencing, and highly customized and visually dynamic deliverables. As our clients navigate a rapidly changing world where there’s more competition for people’s free time & mindshare than ever before, we are also focused on helping them navigate a fast-changing media landscape. My role extends to helping them understand the wealth of “big data” that new digital platforms provide. This means zeroing in on the most important and useful metrics, and providing creative guidance to optimize materials for these digital and social platforms.

Analyzing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data.Synthesizing various data points to create a "story" for each particular study -- and creating a written powerpoint report to present this story. Engaging with clients and servicing them and helping them work through their research problems.

I wrote, produced and co-directed The Big Ask, a dark independent comedy. It stars Melanie Lynskey, David Krumholtz, Jason Ritter, Gillian Jacobs, Zach Knighton, and Ahna O'Reilly with French Stewart, Dale Dickey and Ned Beatty. The film had it's premiere at SIFF and was distributed by TriBeCa films.
