Leading the finance function of various fund management boutiques and responsible entities within the Pinnacle Investment Management Group. This includes:- Reporting directly to Pinnacle’s CFO and the Managing Directors of numerous fund management boutiques in varying life stages and industries (equities, infrastructure and agriculture)- Day to day management and mentoring of the finance teams for each of the entities and corporate groups. This includes recruitment and training along with continuous improvements around controls and procedures- Ensuring timely delivery of accurate and insightful monthly management reporting, budgeting and cashflow forecasting- Quarterly board pack coordination for entities and groups. This includes preparation of responsible entity board packs (including rigorous AFSL calculations) and attendance/presentation of financials/regulatory requirements at board meetings- Coordination and review of the payroll function (HC 100+, 10 separate payrolls monthly, 7 domestic, 3 international), termination calculations, jurisdiction compliance, staff incentive calculations/payments- Corporate financial reporting ensuring compliance with GAAP and/or IFRS along with management of numerous external audits (9 corporate and 50+ funds) with varying timelines and deliverables- Managing tax including income tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax (ITR/BAS both at the fund and corporate level)- Treasury, including banking and management of AP, AR, debt and debt covenants- Employee unit trust administration along with executive loans (incl Div7A calculations, tax statements, ESS)- Management of company secretarial duties such as share registers and minutes- Streamlining of various aspects of the finance functions based on both unique business needs and group efficiencies, from the research phase to implementation and beyond
