I am currently in a IT Tecnical Support Role at IRIS Connect. We support over 1700 schools with 19000 users who are currently using our systems.

I have now completed my BT Gold Standard Level 3 ICT Apprenticeship where I studied a Diploma in ICT Professional Competence, Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles and Functional Skills of Number, Communication and ICT Level 2

As well as supporting the school’s IT infrastructure, I helped run a new and innovative notebook scheme and provided support for the staff and students through its implementation. Predominantly this involved diagnosing software related issues and delivering a problem solving service. Perins School are in partnership with Toshiba as part of which they supply both staff and students with devices to use onsite. As part of the IT services team I helped provide an onsite Toshiba Repair Centre for in-house notebook hardware repairs, through which I am a qualified Toshiba Engineer. Through working in this environment I have experience of a diverse range of IT issues, ranging from systems maintenance and fault finding, to network issues, and software support.

During my time as a sports coach I gained lots of new skills and qualifications. This included my level 1 in Football and level 2 in Multi Skills. My duties as a sports coach included planning innovative and stimulating sports sessions tailored to specific groups, delivering these sessions to a high standard, passing on knowledge to other coaches, duty of care over children and communicating effectively with each school maintaining a friendly professional relationship

I started at Halfords part time whilst at college and then became full time once I had left Peter Symonds. My duties included advising customers, fitting batteries, radios, number plates, bulbs, wiper blades, hands free kits. I was also given the responsibility of Cashing up, stock control, stock ordering, refunds, opening and closing the store. The manager trusted my time keeping and made me a key holder which increased my responsibilities.
