I started working at B&K Farmers Market in the mid part of July. I was hired in as a Shift Manager the day of my interview. My daily duties were running the shift that I had working that day, doing inventory from one of the food provider that we ordered from once weekly and the making the order, I was responsible for taking care of any customer service issues we may have run into on any given day on the floor. I was also in charge at the end of the night of counting all the income cash, credit card, EBT, and checks. I used QuickBooks Pro to do the cash count every night, to make sure the credit cards and cash all lined up within a margin of 3-6 dollars being over or under. “We gave a lot of things daily to regulars at different prices than the computer would say.”

I started May 27th 2020 as the position of parking lot sweeper the day after my interview. I had to maintain the bearings on the brush decks, keep check on the Hydraulic system, and normal wear and tear maintenance. I was also a road sweeper driving a very large close to 10,000 lb sweeper with a water and hydraulic system as well. Both trucks were dually tire single rear axle and under 10,000lbs because I do not have a cdl license “but I do have a active DOT physical.” But the parking lot sweeper was an Isuzu truck diesel and the road sweeper was a sweeper master sized close to a large single axle dump truck.

I started January 17th 2020 as the position of utilities, and after 3 days I was promoted to final metal bar inspection by my foreman Matt Morales. I currently am certified forklift driver and overhead crane operator. My duties were finding metal bars to be shipped out nationally and internationally to give them the final inspection that they would get before the product would be shipped out to the customer. This included but wasn’t limited to checking bars width to tolerance, checking the length of the bars to tolerance, checking the bars weight to tolerance, labeling and moving the material to the shipping area, but that’s not before I had to check every bar for cracks and other imperfections that had been missed through the whole process of the metals composition being made in the VAR, to the very last step of the saws cutting them to length. I was also taught how to package for overseas orders.
