I support the UT Health Innovation and Technology Simulation laboratory as the Strategy Director. My research focuses on advanced applied systems science using adaptive computer models to better understand complex systems, particularly in healthcare. Recent efforts have been related to understanding medical error from a systems perspective and constructing computer models to evaluate how interventions can reduce error occurrence.
