My role at Cyprotex is based around exploring the properties of prospective APIs during early phase drug discovery for clients. This role involves: - Laboratory work involving the use of Tecan automation systems. Use of Tecan systems includes troubleshooting and script writing.- Extensive data analysis of quantitative experimental data on the performance of APIs in assays covering different aspects of physical chemistry.- Advanced use of Excel for data management and result tracking. - Experience in Visual Basic for Applications and HTML. Outside of work I captain the Wilmslow Phoenix Lacrosse A-team. Achieved a 2:1 in my MChem degree in Chemistry from the University of Lincoln. Achieving a 1st in both of my computational research projects. Grade 6 qualification in piano.
