Born and raised in Reunion Island, I am a former Mathematics Teacher with a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking. I am now embarking on an exciting career transition into the world of cybersecurity as a Penetration Tester. I am driven by the challenge of uncovering vulnerabilities in systems and networks, and I am eager to leverage my analytical skills and teaching experience to make a positive impact in the field of cybersecurity.Throughout my career as a Mathematics Teacher, I honed valuable skills that are directly applicable to the field of penetration testing. My expertise in logical reasoning, data analysis, and attention to detail have equipped me with a strong foundation for identifying vulnerabilities and assessing security risks. Additionally, my experience in teaching has sharpened my ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner, a skill that is crucial when communicating technical findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.My passion for cybersecurity stems from a deep curiosity about the inner workings of technology and a desire to protect individuals, organizations, and their valuable assets from cyber threats. The dynamic nature of the cybersecurity landscape excites me, as it presents constant learning opportunities and the chance to stay one step ahead of evolving threats. I am eager to contribute my skills and knowledge to a team of like-minded professionals dedicated to securing digital environments and fostering a safer online world.While my professional background lies in education, I have taken proactive steps to gain practical experience in penetration testing. I passed the INE certification for Junior Penetration Tester (eJPTv2) and now I'm trying to get the Hack The Box Certified Penetration Testing Specialist (CPTS) to take my skills further. When I'll be done with CPTS I'll start to tackle on OSCP since it's the most well-known certification. I'll also try some Capture the flag challenges to demonstrate my ability to solve complex security challenges.As I embark on this new career path, my goal is to continually expand my technical knowledge and skills within the field of penetration testing. I am committed to staying up to date with the latest tools, techniques, and methodologies, and I am actively seeking opportunities to contribute to real-world cybersecurity projects. I am excited to contribute to the development of robust defenses against cyber threats.
