My passions include musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports injury management and prevention and workplace injuries.I have lived in the small rural community of Coleambally in south-west NSW all my life and now am currently a Physiotherapy student in my graduating year at Charles Sturt University in Orange, NSW. Sport has always been a massive part of my life, participating and excelling in a diverse range of sports to representative level. Some of those sports include AFL, cricket, tennis, swimming and athletics. This exposure has allowed me to gain sports specific knowledge on movement and training principles. This knowledge has proved useful in developing physiotherapy management programs to suit specific athletic needs. To date, I have had extensive exposure to musculoskeletal physiotherapy in a private practice setting. This experience has come through 5 weeks in an outpatient musculoskeletal setting at St. Vincents and many volunteer hours spent in multiple private practices across central west NSW. See my resume for the volunteer details. In 2013 I completed my level 1 sports trainer qualification and had the opportunity to do sports coverage in Orange. My strengths are my communication, my enthusiasm and willingness to learn, my work ethic, my manual handling, patient empathy, flexibility, ability to develop leadership, my desire to always strive for perfection and my ability to work independently with a team focus.
