Worked as a DBA on a $6.5 million enhancement project for part of their master purchase order system. Primary duties included database creation, object management, performance tuning, security and backup/recovery implementation. Architected a change to the proposed method of loading data from IDMS journals that saved over 1200 hours or development time.Developed a custom UNIX based scheduler that focused on Oracle processes and ETL that reduced total time to extract/build the database by 50%.For TriMark Technologies; served as DBA for the $3.5 million conversion of a commercial annuity application from Btrieve to Oracle.
