To utilize the power of data I define great machine learning based products that industrial users want and need while economical buyers are convinced of the accompanying values. I drive innovation with a deep technological knowledge and railway expertise to ensure the growth of our company. I use my experience in different roles to translate between the everyday customers, the engineers, scientists, and managers to digitize maintenance and operations. As Head of Department in one of DLR fastest growing institutes I was responsible for generating more than 3 million EUR annual revenue and defined the strategic path to increase our success. During my role as team leader I acquired and lead international projects with more than 5 million EUR budget for my team alone. All of them had been finished in time and budget with very high satisfaction of our clients. I developed software and algorithmic solutions for various applications, build predictive models and diagnostic tools based on supervised and unsupervised learning as one can see from my many publications. Curiosity, the will to improve things and to personally learn from every situation drive my motivation.
