Journal Manager for Front. Syst. Biol,, Front. Bioinform., and Front. Cell Death.- Develop / define sustainable growth plans / strategies for each journal as the main product owner based on market trends / new developments in the fields- As Matrix Leader ensure all expert channels contribute to journal product success and are aligned to individual product strategies / overarching company KPIs- Liaising with heads of publishing- Responsible for effective pipeline management and accurate reporting / forecasting at the overarching product level- Ensure strong market growth (all regions)- Identify and drive the launch of new sections in each journal product owned- Build effective and strong relationships with key stakeholders including Chief Editors, Editorial Board members, affiliated societies, news outlets, etc.- Ensure sustainable Editorial Board growth- Responsible for management of key strategic budgets (3 figures) across multiple projects and products-Responsible for ensuring the qualification, application, and indexation of new journals to key repositories, including DOAJ, PubMed, ESCI, SCOPUS, SCIE/ Web of Science- Comprehensive experience with the management and growth of new journals to meet indexation requirements, defining USPs, and creating community led journals with repeat users- Lead negotiations and develop partnerships, sponsorships, and affiliations with key societies/meetings/conferences within the field- lead matrix meetings and set matrix level targets- Contribute at team level as lead or contributor towards company-level Objective Key Results- Responsible for direct and dotted line management of Specialists across multiple departments working on each Journal- Comprehensive experience in the training and development of key skills within new hires- Comprehensive experience being responsible for the performance management and professional development of Specialists- Ensure accurate reporting (i.e. time-logging across the team)
