Reporting to the President & COO and Executive Vice President & CFO, the VP of Business Development is charged with expanding Uniglobe's commercial success by developing and implementing sales and marketing programs to attract new members to their global network. In addition, this position is responsible for identifying and vetting new strategic partnerships including M&A activity and other investment opportunities. Responsibilities also include; assisting in supplier negotiations, collaborate on internal global support for existing members, perform and update competitor analysis, resource for strategic decision making and work collaboratively with marketing to build global brand awareness.

Responsible for maintaining the consistency of diverse business operations and the functionality of the business to drive extensive and sustainable growth. Position is responsible for developing strategic direction and plans for the company with regard to all operational and commercial functions including Operations, Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Strategic Initiatives.

Primary responsibility of this position is to manage the Sales and Marketing Division of Balboa. Reporting directly into the President & CEO, position is accountable for leading their global growth initiatives and to diversify their national offerings. Generate new sales opportunities and grow Balboa's business while improving national brand awareness.

Promoted into position in 2008 to drive the strategic plan and tactical strategies to achieve targeted results. Responsible for Sales, Marketing, Product Management and IT Consulting. Directed profitability of U.S. and Canada travel distribution markets including business development for opening new revenue channels. Directed the business transformation/rebranding of Amadeus North America to include IT Consutling

Promoted to this position to restructure the Sales and Marketing Organization to deliver market share gains, improve contribution margins, and overall customer satisfaction. Implemented a progressive customer segmentation process aimed at improving our sales and sevice market approach.
