I am a highly motivated and hard working person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills which attained through 28 years of clinical experience in various NHS and private hospitals. Care,compassion.courage,communication,commitment and competence is evident in my clinical practice . I have worked in most of the hospitals in the Midlands as part of freelance job and have good knowledge about the systems in place.I have competent skills to provide level 1 to level 3 nursing care for the patients in the Intensive care with special interest in post cardiothoracic surgery and can manage patients in medical surgical & rehabilitation wards.I have vast experience in the day case units providing pre and post procedure care of clients having orthopedic,gynae, general surgery, spinal surgery,ENT, , cataract surgery,dental , bariatric surgery and cosmetic surgery in most private hospitals of the region .I also have significant experience in the pre and post procedure care of clients undergoing endoscopy .I had gained brief Cath Lab experience at Stafford district general hospital in 2013-14 period and have managed clients pre ,intra and post procedures in Cardiac catheterisation suit like pacemaker insertion, angiogram,Reveal and ICD insertion.Manage patients post Cath Lab procedures as part of my current job on a regular basis.I can perform venepuncture , IV cannulation ,male urinary cateterisation and NG tube insertion procedures confidently.I had the opportunity to support junior nurses,health care assistants and student nurses during my career and will be able to continue the same .I have the additional responsibility of link infection control nurse of the unit which do it with passion.I enjoy working with other members of multidisciplinary team and makes effective contribution.I always try to get involved for bringing changes in clinical practice and enjoy when it becomes successful.I am a quick learner and am willing to take any training to meet the criteria of the role.
