My construction experience has been an adventure since it started in 2016. Over the past 4-5 years, I have been able to spend the majority of it as a part of the field staff as both a project engineer and assistant superintendent at some point. I have had opportunities to learn operational responsibilities such as the management of submittals, change orders, RFI’s, meeting minutes/ agendas, closeout documents, etc. I have also helped out in the pre-construction stages of several projects, as well as pushing the projects from the field where I have managed safety responsibilities, field change orders, quality control, and scheduled mobilizations and subcontractor work.
