I've spent 7 years in the Navy as a Nuclear Electrician. Following 2 years of schooling at Nuclear Field A School, Power School, and Prototype, I spent 4 years on the USS Maine SSBN 741. While there I was fully qualified with Electrical Operator, Shutdown Reactor Operator. I also attended schools for Electrician Technician for EOG(Oxygen Generators), as well as various electrical turbine and motor generator schools. I am skilled with storage battery operations and powerplant management. As for collateral duties I was Repair Parts Petty Officer, where I coordinated repair parts for 102 maintenance and repair jobs. I was also qualified Work Center Supervisor, where I Coordinated the completion of 116 maintenance items with a work center of 9 individuals. Then I finished my time on the submarine as Leading Petty Officer of my division of 9, coordinating schedules, maintenance, and personal items. I received 2 Navy and Marine Corpse Achievement Medals from my success of the ship. After leaving the submarine, I have spent 1 year as a recruiter learning and practicing sales.
