Coordinate subsidiary and administrative activities with other departments in tandem with the Controller.Provide periodic comparative information relative to other businesses operating in our fields of business.Develop and coordinates policies and procedure related to inventory control issues.Work with consultants, auditors, regulatory agencies, etc., by providing necessary information, reports, and records.Maintain the accuracy and completeness of assigned cash accounts, including the coordination of bank reconciliations.Prepare accurate / meaningful / clear monthly subsidiary financial statements by the agreed upon date of each month.Coordinate accounting activities and establishing reporting and development for all products and services.Provide analysis of the monthly and annual financial reporting.Develop, direct and/or prepare a variety of statistical and other reports for the Controller and CFO.Provide “profitability / efficiency” analysis to assure timely recognition of issues and opportunities.Coordinate year end subsidiary audit process and assure all supporting documents are provided to CPA.Provide accurate and timely reporting and payment for both cooperative and subsidiary sales and use taxes by due date and identify opportunities to minimize such cost. This includes all State and taxing authorities.Provide monthly analysis information on vehicle expenses.Prepare and compile annual operating and capital budgets.Distribute budget requests to Department Heads and coordinates the collection of data from each department.Assist Department Heads with historical data and future forecasting.Summarize and review the annual budget with the Controller.Consider alternative budgetary approaches to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of our process.
