I routinely appear in state and federal courts and manage all aspects of litigation from pre-suit planning, fact and expert discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial.

Substantial experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including written discovery, document productions, e-discovery, depositions, procedural and dispositive motions, budgeting, case valuations, settlement strategies, supervising outside counsel, settlement conferences, mediations and arbitrations. Coordinate defense with insurance carriers to minimize litigation costs. Representative matters:• Defend pharmaceutical client in multimillion-dollar breach of contract dispute; • Defend property owners in premises liability actions; and • Defend attorneys against allegations of professional malpractice.

Case management and development skills include: conduct initial client interviews, research potential claims, develop case strategy and budgeting, draft and argue procedural and dispositive motions, prepare company and expert witnesses for deposition and trial, coordinate and facilitate preparation of expert reports, advise clients on likely outcomes, settlement strategies, and case valuations, counsel at mediations and arbitration. Discovery experience includes taking expert and over 100 fact witness depositions, propounding and responding to interrogatories, requests for production and subpoenas. Representative matters include:• Second-chair of $22 million arbitration brought against a multinational engineering firm for defective asphalt and construction defect claims involving complex engineering, construction and expert/causation issues. Thirty days of trial resulted in a complete defense verdict for client.• Counsel for pharmaceutical manufacturers in defense of product liability litigations involving wide variety of products, including prescription and OTC medications. • Defend industrial equipment manufacturers against personal injury actions.• Handle and manage the defense of toxic and environmental tort cases, including asbestos, benzene and other chemicals, in product and premises liability cases from inception to resolution.• Counsel for chemical manufacturers and industrial equipment and component part manufacturers in premises liability and product cases.
