Perform techniques and processes on the discovery of new materials for use in fragrance and flavor applications using a wide range of extraction techniques (e.g., membrane filtration, liquid extractions, distillation). Also will support the discovery and exploration of new applications and delivery systems. Routine analytical testing of raw materials and finished product samples submitted byR&D and sample lab. Working knowledge and good trouble shooting practice of QC analytical instruments i.e. GC, flashpoint, specific gravity, refractive index and various color tests. (eg., spray drying, fluid bed granulation). Prepare raw material and finished flavor samples. Take viscosity, density, moisture analyze, turbitity, particle size on Beckman Coulter / Malvern and refractive index test. Maintain the appropriate records relating to these activities and provide necessary summaries of activities. Maintain and update flavor/ raw materials management system in SAP.
