Wrote criticism, features and news across the Sun-Times platform (print sections, Web site, my own blog) about local and national musicians. I wrote a weekly column about live music in Chicago, a variety of long-form features for our Sunday arts section, reviews of CDs and concerts, as well as extra timely posts to my Via Chicago blog. I also served as Music Editor, overseeing and budgeting a small staff of freelance writers and reviewers.

Overseeing and energizing the daily entertainment and lifestyles content at suntimes.com. Hired into newly created position to edit and expand our online presentation, from print stories to blogs and interactive solutions. I also now manage five blogs. I also corral our pop music coverage for both print and online.

I started at the Sun-Times working on the daily features section. In 2006, I became editor of the Sunday Show arts section. For a short time in 2007 I edited the Friday A&E tab called Weekend.
