As Program Manager I am responsible for the overall technical success of the project at DLA Land & Maritime; managing all assigned staffing (including subcontractors, if assigned), and the coordination and technical direction required for the successful completion the project.

Assisted in the management of a multi-year Blanket Purchase Agreement Contract as directed by the PM. Contract was in direct support of DLA Land & Maritime in Columbus, Ohio. Worked with Cherokee Team Members to allocate work flow and create effective and efficient Post Award/Pre-Award support to accomplish the work as defined by the customer. Support areas include working with DLA Management, Contracting Officers and organizational COR’s, resolved operational and personnel issues, conducted external (with Government customer) or internal (both HQ and Columbus) coordination, recruiting, retention, and training. Other duties included planning, organizing, budgeting and scheduling; orchestrating time-phased staffing; working with DLA Land & Maritime management and Cherokee personnel to create an effective and efficient performance measurement system verifying performance and metrics requirements; and developing Efficiency Studies. In this capacity, utilized and applied knowledge of acquisition regulations, principles, processes and programs; evaluate systems, programs, operations, functions and organizational support; and planned, researched, studied, evaluated, reviewed, and developed management-level presentations and reports for DLA Land & Maritime management meetings, IPR’s or corporate meetings.

Assisted Air Force’s acquisition of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system worth over $1.2B with over 300 personnel. Directed the Program Control function to include acquisition and planning, metrics reporting, and Workflow Management. Advisor to senior leadership when assigning tasks to various Branch Chiefs in a variety of functional and technical management areas. Developed a new enterprise-wide Action Item Tracking System that decreased staff processing by over 30%, eliminated 10 separate databases, saved over $100K in costs and is now the model throughout HQ AFMC. Developed a training guide and trained over 300 personnel in 3 days. Developed performance-type metrics on the Air Forces’ largest ERP program ensuring all reported metrics are properly recorded and coordinated with appropriate stakeholders to resolve differences

Led hundreds of personnel in multiple commands and many career fields throughout Air Force career and provided a variety of leadership and staff positions in logistics, acquisition, information technology, information management, telecommunications systems, as well as logistic operational support and planning with progressively increasing complexity and scope of responsibility. Directly responsible for wide variety of complex Air Force programs worth millions of dollars throughout career and applied advance knowledge of leadership, program management, technical, and functional skills to ensure program success in terms of overall mission and program objectives.
