I am currently running an Onsite Work Program for a large tomato processing plant. I run a crew of between three to ten employees depending on my current workload. I am in charge of hiring and the layoff of employees as work fluctuates throughout the season. My tasks while running this onsite program is to work with the facilities management to try to first clean their property. then the next step is to work with them to try to help them organize and run the plant in a more productive manner. While season is running there is a constant flow of inventory being brought in and repaired onsite. I take daily inventory and adjust focus daily to insure they always have what is needed to continue producing. I also coordinate with my companys dispatch to schedule loads.

The responsibilities of my last position at Foster farms Dairy was taking inventory on the warehouse and checking the pickers orders for accuracy. After checking orders for accuracy I would combine the different departments orders and send them to the trucks for loading. Once the days orders were complete I would take inventory on the product that needed to be brought in from outside suppliers.

Everyday was different as a tile setter. we would get assigned jobs that would last between one day to multiple weeks. I started as helper and worked my way up to patchman within a year. This position was the final step before the home was turned over to the new owners. Fixing any errors or pieces that weren't up to our standards or broken in construction. By the middle of 2003 I was a tile setter working with my own helper and grouper. We would travel the valley working on kitchens and bathrooms. Once a job was assigned, my helper would be given instructions on the proper supplies to grab from the yard to make the appropriate mixed of concrete for the job. then we would head to the tile manufacturer to pick up the tile and head to the jobsite. This was a very independent job, it required a lot of focus and problem solving. I enjoyed my time as a tile setter and still set tile to this day.
