I have litigated cases involving claims of trademark infringement, unfair competition, false advertising, dilution, cybersquatting, trade dress infringement, counterfeiting and copyright infringement. My practice also includes counseling clients on trademark matters from the search and clearance of marks to prosecuting applications and maintaining registrations before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. I have extensive experience in litigating opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board including taking three successful decisions before the Board. I also handle licensing issues, internet-related issues (including UDRP proceedings) and have supervised trademark registration, maintenance and litigation matters worldwide. I have been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, The Second, Ninth and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals, the U.S. Southern and Eastern Districts of New York as well as New York State courts.
