As Technical Director at Bloomingdale Church, I am responsible for maintaining and documenting all the technology behind the main worship services on Saturday and Sunday. This consists of the video capture, live event sound reinforcement, and live event visual amplification systems. This consists of the video capture, live event sound reinforcement, and live event visual amplification systems. I have simplified and hardened portions of the video capture and live event visual amplification systems and am constantly looking for more ways to minimize downtime of any system due to malfunctions. I have also written set up and troubleshooting guides for the video capture and visual amplification systems.Finally, during the worship services, I manage all the volunteers that man the various positions within the three systems. This entails not just ensuring the quality of individual output, but also maintaining a synergy so that all three systems work together to enhance each other. Show less

As an undergraduate researcher in Myong Lab, I worked on a research project that aimed to further understand the role of the protein Dicer in cleaving double-stranded RNA (dsRNA). Specifically, the research was concerned with how a binding protein called TRBP binds, moves along, and dissociates from dsRNA featuring various types of obstructing RNA structures.In the lab I performed various procedures to prepare fluorescently tagged dsRNA and TRBP for imaging.
