I recently worked with the Florida Department of Transportation as Manager of the Severe Incident Response Teams is South East Florida. These teams consist of highly trained law enforcement and fire rescue Incident Management Specialist who are Incident Commanders for the Florida Department of Transportation at the scene of large scale transportation incidents. I developed this program in 2004 and managed it until October 2017. I oversaw staffing, vehicle procurement, training and supply logistics. I was also charged with development of and delivery of Service Patrol, Rapid Incident Scene Clearance, Express Lanes Incident Management and Traffic Management Center training. I have delivered speeches at National, State and Local Traffic Incident Management Conferences.

Contracted FDOT Operations Manager for the Severe Transportation Incident Response Management Teams Program. I created and administered this program for FDOT. I was responsible for hiring and training Incident Commanders and the build out of the Incident Management Fleet. Developed Operating Guidelines, policies, procedures and computer generated reporting system. Nationally certified incident management trainer and public speaker at National, State and Local conferences.
