Manage facility operations on the Harvard street campus. Oversee the operation of four juvenile detention units with a focus on programming that engages positive youth development and emphasizes family engagement. Engage in proactive approaches through the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI). Manage the facility maintenance and food service components as well as central building controls and security located on campus. Supervise regional intake and detention coordinators as well as transportation officers. Responsible for budgeting and accounting of moneys allocated to the facility. Provide 24 hour on-call coverage for emergency situation as well as crisis intervention.

Oversee all program operations and components including education, clinical and line staff. Provide a therapeutic environment all while maintaining safety and security in a hardware secure setting. Create and develop programming for those youth committed to the Department of Youth Services with a focus on Positive Youth Development and increased family engagement.

Oversee day to day operations of the unit. Create and foster a therapeutic environment for juvenile offenders in the custody of the Department of Youth Services. Focus on Positive Youth Development through programming focused on practical life skills. Ensure the implementation of new and old departmental policy. Create program and staff schedules. Maintain contacts with both collateral agencies and other regions within the department to assist in assuring client needs are being met.

Provide a therapeutic environment for DYS committed youth. Provide direct supervision to supervisors and other subordinate staff. Co-facilitate clinical groups. Assist in training new employees as well as facilitate the continued growth of veteran staff. Provide crisis intervention.

Coordinate and oversee the operations of the shift. Delegate responsibilities to subordinate staff. Maintain accurate records of shift operations, not limited to but including required DYS client records and completed unit tasks. Co-facilitate clinical groups. Provide crisis intervention.
