I started my Apprenticeship as a Carpenter & Joiner in 1988 with McInerney Builders and Bolton Street College & City & Guilds London.Qualified in 1992 Having spent 4 years on IFSC building Project in Dublin 1, I carried on with the Company until 1994.I then Started in Brown Thomas, Dublin for the next 14 years in a Maintenance Building & Fabric role becoming the Lead foreman on site with a Contracting Company , covering every aspect of Building, Fabric Maintenance Facilities, gaining huge experience in Projects, shop fitting planning and dealing with the Client on a Regular Basis.In 2008 my Family and I emigrated to Perth in western Australia until 2014, I took on a role as a Site Manager in the Mining Industry contracting for Rio Tinto.My responsibilities included looking after payroll for up to 60 direct staff and also contractors, Organise 3 Rotas over a fortnightly period to include accommodation ,Payroll, Flights in and out of Site (remote Location) Safety, Supervision ,Client expectations and targets, Deliveries of Materials (1 per week 1800km away from site) The highest quality of workmanship within time constraint and budget all with Zero Incidents on site during my tenure. In 2014 I returned to Ireland and took up a GMP role in Facilities in Pfizer ,Grange Castle for Noonan.in that time I have received fantastic experience in a GMP facility and all that goes with the industry.I've just recently returned to my role from a second Secondment Position for 18 weeks as a Supervisor Team Lead again dealing with direct staff , Management ,Client and Contractors and all that went with the role including RAMS, Quoting ,Invoicing and managing contractors and the Clients Expectations.I am currently working in Pfizer, Grange Castle as the senior Carpenter
