I have an extensive and diverse career as an Advanced Headend Technician and Filed Service Technician for Cablevision, where I have gained considerable knowledge and experience in total distribution network and broadcast systems, as well as the managing the operational effectiveness of the Headend team. I am directly responsible for the management of all incoming transmission streams, converting and reformatting programming, and preparing broadcast distributions for all of Altice’s services, delivery platforms, and customers. I have contributed significantly to the design, build, and implementation of numerous on-site and off-site projects, including major transmission system enhancements and infrastructure upgrades, the maintenance of satellite farms and Microwave link-ups, and partnering with teams and executives from all departments on the introduction, rollout, and support of new services, as well as continuously seeking opportunities to improve the delivery of existing services. I also have extensive experience in all daily system operations and maintenance, with extensive experience in most of the technologies required of this role. I am also fully engaged in the strategic planning of the department, and routinely conduct performance analysis assessments and implement process improvement measures to ensure the integrity of the entire broadcast distribution system while adhering to all industry standards and FCC compliance regulation.
