Report to the VP General Manager and lead the financial management of the. Charter includes improving the company's financial performance, implementing disciplined and robust financial, management and business processes, improved accuracy of business plans and forecasts and teambuilding. Lead the finance team (Accounting, Payroll, A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Financial Reporting, Cost Estimating, Program Finance, DCAA/DCMA interface, and Industrial and Physical Security). Responsible for companywide financial planning and analysis, capital budgeting, monthly and quarterly financial reporting, management of cash resources, cost control, analyzing and recommending strategic investments, and improved performance management. Responsible for the financial management of a complex multifaceted business comprised of fifteen diverse product lines (including six international subsidiaries and five branch offices in Canada, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East) which made up the Cubic Defense Systems $450 million R&D, Products, and Services business. Acted as the company president/chief operating officer during president absence. Responsible for the creation, development and integration of the company’s strategic and tactical business plans, establishing plan performance targets for program management and business development, and partner with the company president and operating general managers in achieving and exceeding targeted results. Experience in due diligence and financial analysis for domestic and international acquisitions and integration of the acquisition target into the company.
