I am a therapeutic radiographer working at The Christie Proton Beam Therapy centre in Manchester. I am currently in the role of interim CSM for PBT at the Christie, with extensive experience in the development of the national PBT programme and Christie proton centre.My substantive role is working as a principal radiographer where my responsibilities meant I lead a team of radiographers and equipment providing pre-treatment medical imaging for proton therapy and radiotherapy patients. I am a big advocate in MR in RT and having recently developed services here in Manchester, I am keen to share the lessons we have learned and tools we have developed in order to support and develop other similar professions and services.
