Currento Assist in the development of Patient Care Services Orientation curricula, maintaining the most evidence-based practices and procedureso Mentor new-grad nurses throughout their orientation period, monitoring their progress and fostering an environment of learning, through frequent meetings and open discussionso Participate in numerous sub-committees for policy/procedural changes throughout the organization comprised of a variety of inter-disciplinary teamso Become proficient in all new policies implemented within the organization so that I may advise the inpatient med-surge units as neededo Assess the educational needs of inpatient med-surge units daily, while providing them with the resources to be successful o Regularly investigate Hospital Acquired Infections, their origin, and develop measure to prevent re-occurrenceo Facilitated Bi-Weekly orientation of new-hire Nurses, PCAs, and Mental Health Workers
