I am driven by story, from movies to narratives in the most unexpected places. As a writer, I weave stories together by combining fragments from lived experiences and fiction. While writing, I often reflect on the perspectives I've picked up in previous positions I've had. In turn, I can then use my passion for writing in my current and future roles. As a cast member at Walt Disney World, I get to witness the story that unfolds everyday for guests at the theme parks. This story is told by all cast members, in the clothes we wear and the services we provide. Story has also helped me prepare a lesson to present to a class of college students, and enforce policies in a residential setting. Stories have the power to entertain, inspire, and do so much more. As an aspiring screenwriter and script reader, I am committed to telling stories to elicit entertainment, constructive reflection and positive change.
