Identify and resolve process issues in scheduling to maximize efficiency within the department.Performs the duties of an Ambulatory Service Rep as needed which includes but is not limited to: participates in scheduling patients for treatment, handling urgent patient care calls, pre-authorization and physician referrals, confirming demographic and insurance information, proper coding and billing of exams, etc.Responsible for input and completion of performance appraisals for assigned personnel. Responsible for interviewing, scheduling, orientation and training of assigned personnel. Discusses discipline, terminations and similar actions with Director of Radiology, and then proceed with course of action.
