Process general accounting functions with a focus on inventory accounting and reconciliation, including inventory releases and requisitions, inventory to GL account reconciliation, cycle counts and quarterly physical inventory. Prepare and analyze Balance Sheet reconciliations to include bank and petty cash reconciliations. Prepare and process various state and federal tax payments and returns including payroll tax payments, FUTA, 571L Property Statement and Sales and Use Tax returns and payments. Enter and review accounts payable invoices and process weekly accounts payable check function, including PO matching, credit card payments, and annual 1099 processing and W-9 vendor maintenance.

Direct financial management functions including development of staff and preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements and tax returns. Oversee and process general accounting functions, including AR/AP, payroll, account reconciliation, and cash management. Compiled periodic financial reporting packages for Business Unit Management use and Corporate Accounting Staff review and reconciliation. Prepare and provide documentation to Corporate Office for internal/external audits and ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency/accuracy.

Oversee general accounting functions, including AR/AP, account reconciliation, capital projects and fixed assets. Manage and supervise staff of 5-10 team members of various levels, including annual reviews both written and verbal. Prepare documentation for quarterly/year end external audit review. Create and document policy and procedures in accordance with General Company Policy, GAAP and SOX laws.
