While my day time persona is a full-time copy writer for a marketing agency, I take a lot of joy in spending the dark hours of the night doing freelance work for individuals and businesses who need help with voice, articulation or refinement. Writing is hard. It's specific, time consuming and requires an awfully large serving of humble pie to make the final dish appetizing. There's a reason copy writing and editing are some of the largest time sinks in corporate offices, they're tough. Messages need the "who, what, when, where, why and how," and each of them needs to be just right. It's a balancing act I love to perform. I've got almost a decade of freelancing experience in basic, web and developmental copy editing, as well as research, manuscript evaluation, SEO, ghostwriting, blogging, media releases, transcriptions and much, much more. I'm a published fiction and nonfiction writer and I'm just crazy enough to enjoy what I do. If I can't be on a basketball court, I want my butt in a chair and my hands on a keyboard.
