Assistant Engineer Internship in Mechanical System Integration I have been involved in the A350 XWB project, on both -900 and -1000 aircrafts, in a Mechanical System Integration team specialized in checking and develoment of design solution for air conditioning systems, The team was responsible for forward and aft sections of the aircrafts.Here are several missions to which I have been assigned during these five months: -Development of design solutions on Catia V5 software, for the Centralized Air Extraction (CAX) system of the different monuments installed in the aircraft. This project was led only for -900 model. -Development of statistical studies about the effective use and connections of air inlets, by different customers from the global air network.This project was realised in order to reduce designing costs of main connection pipes in the aircrafts as well as reducing weight (Design To Cost) -Design Checks ,on Catia software and several databases from Airbus, of the air restrictors and interface points fixed by our department for the different layouts of the aircrafts. -Development of an existing database, simplified and more ergonomic, leading to a total working time for checking design solutions divided by 5. -Assigned to the complete check and validation of new design solutions via drawings, bills of materials, 3D software, corrosion checking and assembly drawings.Other Mission: I have been responsible for the weekly tracking and validation of actions for my department and responsible for the launch of weekly objectives during a development project of A350-1000 new interior configurations for low costs companies.These projects was led in collaboration with all departments specialized in Mechanical System Installation, in France and Germany.This internship has been done in both German and English languages.
