Manages $1.6 million annual budget to support over 450 personnel. Formulate, execute and analyze budgets for the 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and the 37th Airlift Squadron utilizing commonly used budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes to justify spending trends. Proficient with data processing software ABSS, SBSS, IAPS, CRIS, Microbas, Windows applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Project to gather, assemble, and analyze factual information for use in accurately forecasting budget estimates. Interpret source data to include accounting reports, payroll records, work reports, and inventory/supply records and apply to budgetary/funding tasks. Review, track, and analyze obligations, expenditures and reimbursements to ensure squadrons stay within spending authority. Manage appropriated funding and preparing annual funding needs for one or more future budget years. Skilled in the analysis of budgetary relationships and developing/implementing recommendations for budgetary actions specific to maintenance operations as well as flying hour programs. Apply appropriate analytical methods, such as cost benefit analysis, zero based budgeting, functional developmental cost factors, amortization, depreciation, pro-rating revenues and costs among customers. Communicate orally and in writing with command. Hold current Secret Security Clearance. Processed IMPAC card purchases for payment. Processed journal voucher for invoices in transit. Accomplished all other administrative duties as assigned.
