I am currently working as a Paralegal at Shaw McDonald Lawyers.I act for the firm's insurance and commercial clients in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia in respect to motor vehicle property, debt recovery and trade credit claims.I currently have the experience to:- draft court pleadings and associated litigation documentation in multiple states;- advise on liability, contribution and quantum;- recommend resolution strategies designed to achieve each client's desired outcome; and- commence and finalise Proceedings in every state jurisdiction, including Warrants for Arrest and for the Sale and Seize of property.I also prepare briefs and instruct counsel at hearings and Applications and often assist the firms' director in the Management and investigation of complex claims.

Everyday tasks include cold and warm calling clients, working towards sales targets and hitting KPI’s, responding to sales inquiries, delivering prepared sales talks, educating/influencing potential leads as to the benefits of certain products and services, sales support where I work hand in hand with sales representatives portraying all relevant information and data, effectively communicating through email and letter writing, assisting to create new marketing strategies, lead generation through phone and email, customer service.

Duties including managing accounts, monitoring/ reporting and improving freight partner’s performance, transport and logistics, warehousing, storage and distribution, driving and reporting on-site distribution, loading freight, transporting product via forklift, ensuring quality, service, inventory accuracy and productivity KPI's, supervising teams of process workers and machine operators to achieve production targets, ensuring OH&S compliance both internally and externally.
