During my time at Tesco I had a variety of roles on the shop floor and on the meat and deli counters. I worked alongside a large, but close-knit group of staff in a busy environment in order to provide the most satisfactory shopping experience for customers by creating a clean, safe environment and providing any assistance necessary.My Role Included:● Arranging stock rotation in a neat, organised manner ● Managing daily produce deliveries and ensuring they are being stored correctly ● Being of assistance to customers in regards to any questions or concerns they may have about store products● Behind the meat counter it is important that all products displayed and sold are logged correctly, so that information can be passed on and placed on to the stores systems.Skills I Learned:● Teamwork/Communication Skills working in a large store alongside a large quantity of staff to complete tasks● Customer Service Skills● Multitasking- operating multiple roles at once and shifting amongst them regularly
