• Part of the Android Platform Test team / tested QUALCOMM’s first party chipsets for mobile devices. • Primarily worked on the stability lab, flashing, executing and testing all mobile targets setup for the android platform through automation. Testing various JAVA and BREW related mobile devices for Sprint and Verizon Wireless within their Test Central manual testing application and the newly implemented SLATE Automated testing suite. Writing and issuing CR’s (Change Requests) and issuing bugs within the SLATE system as implementation continues. Also reporting and logging issues within the handset during testing using various testing software such as QXDM, QPST and RSD Tool/RSD Lite. Also working closely with phone leads to setup network (Spirent/Agilent Boxes) systems for specific network tests. As a side project here at Motorola I worked on the testing of RSD Tool for Verizon, testing new Motorola handsets DLL and compatibility with other Motorola handsets and features.

Ensure all mobile software applications utilizing Qualcomm’s Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless (BREW®) platform, receive extensive and fair analysis while performing complete quality assurance testing and troubleshooting to the Music on Demand and Video on Demand suites for Verizon Wireless to make sure they meet or exceed the requirements set by Verizon. Also updating OEM software upgrades and application specific updates through QPST and first party tools set by the handset manufacturers. Also completing extensive test plans throughout each application and data reporting through a third party bug tracking system named JIRA.

• Ensured that all mobile software applications utilizing Qualcomm’s Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless (BREW®) platform, receive extensive and fair analysis while performing the TRUE BREW certification process and quality assurance.• In order to validate the applications TRUE BREW status, determined if the software appropriately adhered to BREW standards by reviewing and cross-referencing the applications specification documentation and evaluating the application itself.
