After the initial collection phase, we would have to inventory all boxes and input all information into an Excel spreadsheet in FDIC format. After the initial take-over, we would work with other FDIC departments to assist with any facility function. Finishing up the job we would ship out files, equipment and turn over the facility to the remaining FDIC personnel or any bank personnel that took over the facility.Asset ProfessionalResponsibilities included analyzing and re-valuating loans files that the FDIC has taken control over. This included re-underwriting the loan files, contacting the customers, ordering new appraisals, income determination and establishing the value of the loan. The loans are then sold often requiring negotiating with third party lenders to sell the assets.
